WEBINAR
In the Hot Seat: Preparing Law Enforcement for Trial Testimony
About
After an officer responds to a scene or a detective secures a warrant, the focus shifts to the next call or investigation. However, as cases progress towards trial, months or even years may pass. This presentation is invaluable for both new and seasoned law enforcement officers, as well as prosecutors, offering essential guidance on various aspects including writing detailed incident and offense reports, courtroom preparation, efficient review of reports and body-worn camera footage, credibility maintenance, effective communication with juries and anticipatory preparation for common state and defense questioning. Drawing upon the expertise of seasoned law enforcement officers and prosecutors alike, this webinar aims to enhance the proficiency of professionals in both realms. By offering comprehensive insights and strategies, it equips participants with the tools necessary to navigate the complexities of trial testimony with confidence.
